Ciao 2011

It's new year eve, again.

People always have mix feeling when they are alone, or during some special moment and they somehow drown in their own world. It has been so long I have the time to sit down at one of the corner, without any distractions.

Time for some reflection of my 2011. It's not cliche to do a sum up every year. In fact a very good habit where one can practice. It reminds you of what you have forgotten and what you have to do in future. The check list.

Let's rewind.

1. The Dummy Kid

Back in early, I met him.

The boyfwen. Am really glad the angel has finally brought him here after so many years. Our story is a bit different. Or interesting. It's not physically attached but mentally at first. Somehow it's like a fairytale playing its chapters in real life.

His existence not just brought me happiness and love but tears and laughs. It's how love should be.

Also this dummy has became the limelight of mine where friends start commenting that he is so much cuter than me. So all the photos we taken they liked it because of him but not me. Lol. They are so gonna ditch me and have him as the new friend to replace me. But I don't care am gonna stick with him. :P

2. Bangkok Getaway

Early January the zoofwenz and I flew to the neighbour country for a shopping spree. It was planned a few months ahead and the main purpose is, yeah u got it right, SHOP ALL YOUUU CANNNNNN. would have say shop till you drop but too much of 9gag influence so, haha.

And it was my first time to Bangkok, fall in love for the price of apparels and food. Nom nom nom nom nom nom. What we went through in this trip is totally like those typical horror movie where a gang of friends went for trip then scary things started to happen one by one. *touchwood* We are all safe and sound. Just that JeanCui being pickpocket, lost all the $$$ plus documents including passports. This is where our trip being postponed and encountered the red army in town.

Shopping paradise.

Feel so surreal but indeed a memorable trip.

3. Graduation

After 4 years of hardwork, sleepless nights, endless assignments, we graduated! Well all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Sometimes we deserve those overnight because of procrastination. Haha.

4. HongKong | Macau

The trip to Hong Kong was a fruitful one as it includes of shopping eating and visiting. Ever notice how i put shopping at the first place? Ooooopsie. :D

What I love max of Macau is their Portugese Tart! Super yummy can. I could eat 10 pieces at once if given the chance. Haha.

5. Bali

A graduation trip for the gang with plus one.

Always thought that Bali is a paradise full with romantic couples and weddings. Overrated by films and movies though. For me i think that Bali is a place enriched by culture and history. You'll love the place more when the tour guide is telling you the stories behind each sculpture and attractions.

The dolphin at Lovina is a must!

6. India

The hell and the heaven.

Friends are like OMG You went India?? For real?? While parents were so conscious about the cleanliness once know that we are going there. They were like saying ' Out of so many places to go why choose India?' Follow with a big sigh.

This was actually a surprise trip baby planned.

That night he was asking me where is our next destination and I asked him to surprise me. Yea indeed he did. Was forcing myself not to check it out which I could have done. All the while my six sense told me that we are going to China until the few days before I accidentally clicked on this hotel booking thingy and saw New Delhi.

NEW DELHI.

Was like OMG!!! India!!!!

And there goes my few days reading blogs and info about India. Am so anticipated and excited. I won't be that kind of person who despise poverty and say no to their country. Even though most of the time I'll choose urban city than rural place, deep inside I learnt a lot throughout this trip.

You will never have a chance to see a group of people peeing and pooing together along the street. Or seeing cows winking at you while you are on the road. Or kids following you to everywhere you go. Or looking at your polaroid as if it's a magic box that captures human.

People see us like an alien. If you are an optimist, may be you can feel as if u are a star. They look at you with those eyes, explore every inch of your skin. When your eyes met with theirs, it always comes with a smile.

If you ask me whether I will go back again?

Definitely yes.

For me, I just visited the heaven.

7. Tragic Fairytale

It was a music video conducted by Gino and was there to help out. Love the outfit and also my creepy evil little character.

8. Chatime Fever

Don't really notice since when Chatime intrudes the market but a few friends of mine are their super number 1 fans.

Ever since Chatime opened at Ipoh it becomes our second home. We will take turn to get the order as we are too frequent and so embarrass for being recognize by those waiters.

Tsssk tsssk tsssk.

9. Found the biggest initial of mine

No no no. Am not gonna tell you where I saw this. Cause it might happen to be your initial too!

10. Polaroid freak

Bought more than 100 boxes of polaroid films. Approximately 1000 pictures taken?

I don't know can't bear with the amount as after I times with the money for each film it will be #(%(#*%*#(? Haha.

Anyway the price I got the films is the cheapest in the town so I don't care!

I want the 4 walls in my room full with polaroids!

11. The Game

Doom!

Every Chinese New Year I will spend the longest time playing this. Of course, involve money and energy as it's part of gambling. Hiak hiak hiak.

Can't wait for the coming CNY.

12. Taroball series set 2

Was a year where I keep eating the same thing but never get bored of it.

Oh my taro ball series set 2, when was the last time I ever tasted you?

13. Pre graduation

We are the gangster. And we rule the world.

We know that there will be a day for departure, but the memories we created, always there.

14. Sekinchan

My another somewhere belong as my someone belongs there.

15. Food Poison

Was taken a week after I had food poison. I dropped to 41kg and this is some hard work I did to gain back some weight.

I slimmed down a lot after I eaten a romantic din din at a royal hotel in Udaipur, India. Was really really sick and can't consume anything cause me keep vomiting and also s***ing. ]: Luckily it was already the last day of the trip and baby was there to take care of me. Still remember that night I woke up with the pain and have to ask the person in charge in the hotel to drive me to the nearest pharmacy to get pills. The awkward moment in the car when the guy who drives us there ask us how we think about HIS hotel. HIS HOTEL. Omygawdd we tot he was a driver or something. Haha! So this guy actually was the heritage of the royal family he might be a price and he was driving me to get pills! Like a fairytale. Lol.

I will never forget that few days I suffered. Even in the plane, I went to the toilet for countless times and was given special seats too. ]:

So India, seems like you can't run away from diarrhea.

16. Lighting Fun

Time to photoshop a new passport photo for new resume. It's time for job hunting.

The year where I received the most hand written letters.

23. Love life

The life I'm having now is so hectic ever since I came to Singapore. Been missing a lot of outings back in KL and Ipoh, and everyday how I can see my baby or family is just by phone or webby. Don't really want to use the word 'lifeless' to describe it as it's not that bad actually. Haha. I know this won't be long as after the rain is always the sun, and sometimes a rainbow!

Well this pretty sum up part of my 2011. Couldn't finish everything in just a few pictures and words.

HAHAHA. Read back and checked a few resolutions which I made. I drove, I wore contact lens, I fulfilled most of the list! This is fun!
